Design agency Stranger and Stranger moved beyond labeling to cloak bottles from winemaker Truett Hurst head to toe in paper, thus creating a sexy new look and more space for, well, branding.

Redesigning a Classic Game for Type Enthusiasts. Andrew Clifford Capener revives our beloved Scrabble.Pick your own font, or get a font assortment when you order the Scrabble set. The package design alone won me over. It’s still in the production planning stages but can be ordered/viewed here.

Visited one of my favorite places in Brooklyn this weekend - The Brooklyn Flea Market. I stumbled upon Morris Kitchen who were selling their specialty Ginger Syrup. The syrup is contained in something resembling an old medicine bottle and the labels are all letter pressed. I sampled the ginger syrup in a tea concoction where it was mixed with hot water and maybe some lemon. There were also little recipe cards for cocktail making and you can probably experiment with it in your baking/cooking, or give it as a gift, or just keep it for yourself :)
