British hotelier Alfie Bubbles has opened a real-life Yellow Submarine in Liverpool’s Albert Dock. The 80-foot submarine has been retrofitted to match the Beatles’ 1966 ‘Yellow Submarine’ album cover. For Fab Four fans the submarine offers three guest rooms, all decorated with a 1960’s psychedelic feel. The floating “moat-tel” has already been completely booked by Beatlemaniacs from around the world through next year. No worries though- Bubbles also offers a similar stay just across the harbor with ‘The Joker’, a Batman themed boat and has plans to develop accommodations based on Titanic, Pirates of the Caribbean and more.
