We all live in the Yellow Submarine (Hotel)

British hotelier Alfie Bubbles has opened a real-life Yellow Submarine in Liverpool’s Albert Dock.  The 80-foot submarine has been retrofitted to match the Beatles’ 1966 ‘Yellow Submarine’ album cover.  For Fab Four fans the submarine offers three guest rooms, all decorated with a 1960’s psychedelic feel.  The floating “moat-tel” has already been completely booked by Beatlemaniacs from around the world through next year.  No worries though- Bubbles also offers a similar stay just across the harbor with ‘The Joker’, a Batman themed boat and has plans to develop accommodations based on Titanic, Pirates of the Caribbean and more.

Marks and Spencer are encouraging “shwopping.” Customers can swap garments in exchange for a 5GBP voucher to purchase new clothes at M&S. The goal is to get shoppers to decrease waste and donate garments to charity. 1,200 “shwop drop” boxes have been placed around the UK. http://bit.ly/Jo13AQ
